It all began with an idea.
Founded by architect and artist Mina Mokhtari, and on the artistic side of the business, Tachara Group blends art, design, and craftsmanship to create contemporary tile artworks, customised surfaces and claddings, and functional art objects. Our practice draws from architectural precision and cultural heritage, producing refined pieces and installations.
Drawing upon her architectural background and cultural heritage, Mina’s ceramic paintings reinterpret the centuries-old language of Persian and Islamic ornamentation through a contemporary lens. Her works merge precision with fluidity, geometry with echoing the spatial sensibilities of architecture while celebrating the tactile and expressive qualities of clay, glaze, and mixed media.
We now believe only sky is the limit!

And we believe that craftsmanship is a form of devotion — to culture, to nature, and to the quiet power of human hands.
Each work is going through the complex process of feasibility study, concept and design development, colour testing and detail/pattern scale management, hand painting & firing to reach the final product.
